  • Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen's University

History:
Myself and my husband JP are the founders of Active Body Physical Therapy. My role with the clinic is primarily on the business side. I worked at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital for 5 years and am currently doing home care physiotherapy for Community Care Therapy. In my career I have worked with a variety of populations and conditions including: pediatrics, geriatrics, neurology, neurosurgery, cardiorespiratory, orthopaedics, and post-surgery. I have taken several post-graduate courses including McKenzie, Acupuncture, courses with A.P.T.E.I., Level 2 Manual Therapy, Karen Orlando's Balls, Bands and Balance and University level business courses. My primary area of interest is working with clients with osteoporosis. I enjoy the challenge of having to work on core stability, balance, strength and conditioning and falls prevention. I completed my MelioGuide to Stronger Bones, working with osteoporosis and osteopenia Level I Training Certification and hope to become more involved with osteoporsis projects in the future.
