Hydrotherapy Services

WHAT IS HYDROTHERAPY?

  • Hydrotherapy is a Physiotherapy Supervised Pool Program.
  • It is designed for patients with degenerative and surgical conditions, muscoskeletal injuries, neurological conditions and generalized chronic pain.
  • Hydrotherapy is aimed at reducing pain, increasing mobility, and assisting people to return to their normal function by continuing with healthy lifestyle choices.
HOW DO I SCHEDULE A VISIT OR NEED MORE INFORMATION?

  • Just give us a call @ 519-250-1855 or stop in at Active Body Physical Therapy 1775 Sprucewood in LaSalle.
  • If you already have a Physician's referral please bring the referral with you. It will take approximately 10 minutes for registration. During registration, an appointment time and date with a physiotherapist will be provided.
WHAT WILL THE FIRST VISIT BE LIKE?

  • You will have an assessment with the physiotherapist held at Active Body Physical Therapy Clinic and then together you will discuss the appropriate treatment plan.
  • Your first visit will usually be around 45-60 minutes with the physiotherapist.
  • Each subsequent visit will be held at Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex Leisure Pool in LaSalle on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 11:30AM-12:30PM.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

  • For your first appointment it is best to bring comfortable clothing like a t-shirt and shorts or sweatpants as well as indoor running shoes and remember to meet us at Active Body Clinic on Sprucewood Rd in LaSalle for the Assessment. For each pool visit bring a bathing suit and towel (water shoes optional).
