Event: Rick Hansen Wheels In Motion
Category: Community Events
Date: Sunday, June 13, 2010 at 09:30 AM until Monday, June 13, 2011 finishing at 11:00 AM

Today, the dream lives on through Rick Hansen Wheels In Motion, presented by Scotiabank. Wheels In Motion is an event held in communities across Canada to raise funds to improve the quality of life of people with spinal cord injury, for research leading to a cure and to support local Quality of Life Initiatives.

On Sunday, June, 13, 2010, people of all ages and abilities can come out to wheel or walk with friends and family along the trails of LaSalle to raise funds and make a difference. So save the date and get involved! Join us in celebrating the 24th Anniversary of Rick Hansen’s Man in Motion World tour and LaSalle’s 8th Annual Wheels in Motion event.

The event starts in the Scotiabank parking lot on Malden Road, goes through the LaSalle trails, and ends back at the bank where entertainment and refreshments are provided, as well as the opportunity to participate in a wheel-chair relay.
